If anyone has done better let me know"
Falcon1: I'm thinking of buying the board but without linux it's pretty useless to me. I found some info that may help:
According to the following forum the D2Audio card uses "standard" UAA drivers with Windows: AVSForum
According to Microsoft the UAA includes three types of hardware:
- USB-audio
- IEEE 1394 AV/C
- High Definition Audio
Where the HDA is a "Intel High Definition Audio" type device. See KB article 835221 835221-English. ALSA has support for the Intel HDA sound card derivatives but lacks the inclusion of the proper PCI ID's and accompanying Model types. This you can change yourself of course. If anyone succeeds please update this page and please share your wisdom ;-)
